Sahra mani is an Afghan filmmaker. She is the founder of Afghanistan Doc houses, a production company based in Kabul and co-founder of London based Anahat Vision and Films production company. she helped organize the Afghanistan Human Rights Film Festival in 2013. Her documentary films have played at film festivals around the world and won numerous awards. Sahra is committed to using her skills as a filmmaker to amplify the voices of Afghan Women to help bring about an understanding of their lives. 

Afghanistan Doc House is a documentary film company based in Kabul, Afghanistan. It was founded in 2009 to give voice to the women of Afghanistan. Our goal is to help global audiences develop a better understanding of Afghanistan and to engage in solutions-based film making that helps pave the way for a safer society for the next generation. It is important for us to record for history the fight for women’s rights and justice in Afghanistan
